USC Telecommunications

USC Communications is responsible for and is to provide the mechanisms for budgeting, funding, operating, and maintaining existing and developing Community Telecommunication systems.

• To assume control of and responsibility for the operation, the repair and maintenance of the facilities and equipment to keep the facilities in good operating condition, in accordance with accepted standards and practices.
• To establish service charges sufficient to sustain the proper operation, maintenance, replacement, and repair of the Community Telecommunication Systems, and to provide for depreciation and contingencies; also, to collect service charges from customers served by the Community Telecommunication Systems.
  • Services Offered: Telecommunication Service. Upper Sioux Communications is responsible for providing internet and related services to Upper Sioux Community members living within the exterior boundaries of the Community’s trust land for a fee.
  • Services Provided: All Upper Sioux tribal housing and commercial establishments are covered by Upper Sioux Communications.
